(3) Classification according to vulcanization acceleration speed

1. Slow grade: thiourea, aldehyde amine, representing products ETU, DETU, H;
2. Medium speed grade: Guanidine, representing products DPG, DOTG;
3. Quasi-speed grade: thiazole, hypoflavonoids M, DM, CZ, DZ, NOBS;
4. Overspeed grade: Thiuram, representing products TMTD, TMTM, TETD;
5. Super super speed grade: dithiocarbamate, xanthate, representing products PZ, ZDC, BZ;

(4) Classification by market consumption or output

Those with more consumption or output are called large varieties, and those with less consumption are called small varieties.
1. Large varieties: thiazoles, sulfenic acid amines.
2. Small varieties: thiurams, dithiocarbamates, thioureas, and xanthates.
The above four classification methods are the main classification methods at present, and there are other classifications, so I will not give examples one by one.
Regarding how to choose a rubber accelerator, we mainly start from two aspects. One is the performance of the accelerator itself, such as thermal stability, too high stability is not conducive to the vulcanization of rubber, and too poor stability can easily cause scorch. The second is from the physical and mechanical properties of vulcanized rubber products, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, friction properties and thermal aging properties. In addition, the dispersibility, contamination, coloring, toxicity, and the influence of other compounding agents of the rubber vulcanization accelerator in the rubber compound should also be considered.
